What To Look For When Buying A Mini Cooper

If this is your first time purchasing a Mini then you should know all the models of Mini.
Mini Cooper- The most fuel-efficient and basic gasoline engine.
Mini Cooper S- They took the base model and added a Supercharger/Turbocharger (depending on the year).
Mini Cooper S JCW- John Cooper Works is a factory installed tuning kit to get even more power out of your Mini.
Mini Cooper Clubman- An extended version of the Cooper. About 6 inches longer.
Mini Cooper Clubman S- A Turbocharged version of the Clubman. Also can come with JCW package.
Mini Countryman- A four door SUV version of the Cooper.
Mini Countryman S- Turbocharged Countryman. Not yet but soon to be JCW.

The Mini was reborn by BMW in 2002 creating the New first generation MINI. There were only the three models; Cooper, Cooper S, and Mini Cooper JCW. The Cooper has 115HP and got about 38 mpg. The Cooper S has 163HP with 33 miles per gallon. The JCW jumped to 200HP and still has 30MPG under its belt. The S and JCW first generation are Supercharged.
I am a proud owner of a 2003 Mini Cooper S. Mine has 58,000 miles on it and it still feels as new as the day I bought it. I get about 30-31 in town when I have the price of fuel in mind. Other wise full throttling it most of the time and slamming through the gears I get about 22 miles per gallon.

The second generation Cooper has 118HP with 40 MPG. S model has 172 HP and 36 miles per gallon. The JCW has a whooping 208 horse power and still manages to get 33 miles per gallon. The Clubmans have the same engine as the regular coopers but slightly lower 0-60 times and miles per gallon being longer and heavier than the original.
Now on to the Countryman. The base model has 121 horse power and gets 35 on the freeway. The S model has 181 HP and with its All Wheel Drive system it gets 31 MPG.
I absolutely love these wonderful vehicles. I would own each one of these if I got the chance. They have personality and zing. They are reliable, fun, and get great gas mileage. They may not be the fastest cars in the world on paper, but when you get behind the wheel of one of these bad boys they sure do feel like it. The car feel very well made and it grips to the road like a Porsche. The JCW has earned a spot right next to cars like Ferrari and Lamborgini in my opinion.

Flatout FIAT famous not because the model is sophisticated, but because the size of a very shallow height. Flatout FIAT car has even been named as a common car in the worlds shortest, tall car is only about 40 centimeters, or the equivalent of a lawn mower.

High overall body of the car is even almost the same height tires. while the distance between the lower body to the soil surface only about 6 cm. No wonder the car was crowned as the shortest car in the world. even so short, this car could break through the bottom of the truck.

Interior Designs Picture

Developing a residential lighting plan with the help of a professional lighting designer can both magnify the general appeal of your home’s physical structure and work to unify your lifestyle with your sense of art, decorating, and peace of mind. People often feel much more comfortable in their homes after they have taken the time to invest in planning a residential home lighting design that will illuminate the finer elements of lifestyle and décor they have worked hard to give to themselves and their children.

Your residential lighting plan must emphasize your home’s exterior appearance while concealing the lighting fixtures themselves as much as possible.

Because the edifice of the home is the most prominent feature of the house and the surrounding property, exterior illumination should enhance its architectural preeminence and aesthetic. Outdoor light fixtures attached to the house itself should be concealed as much as possible to bring emphasis to the structure and avoid a sense of clutter.

To maintain a sense of harmony in one’s residence, a lighting plan must also work to unity structure and natural beauty.

Professional landscape lighting should act as a luminary mirror to house lighting. This requires consulting with a professional who is familiar with both landscaping technique and architectural theory. There are certain basic forms that occur within both natural formation and man-made creations. An expert trained to isolate these forms can in turn illuminate them in a complementary manner to emphasize the similarities and minimize the differences.

Multiple layers of light are required to effectively accomplish this.

It takes more than a single layer of illumination to highlight earthwork features such as gardens, flower beds, birdbaths, fountains, and shrubs. Trees need their own separate lighting to both illuminate leaves and branches and create special pools of luminance at the bases of their trunks. Home security lighting has to be provided with flood lighting, and special structures like patios and gazebos need both additional general lighting and low-voltage accent lighting to effectively blend form and function.

Moving toward the interior of the home, your residential lighting plan should follow the motifs of interior architecture.

Every home has its own unique look and feel. This is especially true in the world of custom homes, where an architect or home designer literally sits down and plans the living space around the lifestyle of the occupants. Whichever fixtures you install within a home have to work within the framework of the building’s interior. Since residential house lighting plans require a blend of decorative and general lighting, a lighting designer should be consulted to determine which light sources will work best to complement interior home structure and interior home decorating. Sometimes, as we see in the case of art lighting, you do not want the light source to show at all—only the subject being illuminated. At other times, however, decorative fixtures actually function as important elements of interior design. Pendants, chandeliers, and wall sconces are a few examples of lights that planners and designers often choose to make a home look truly resplendent in terms of aesthetic and décor.

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of working with a professional who can help you develop your residential lighting plan.

The larger and more sophisticated a home is, the more challenging it will be to illuminate. Specialty rooms like kitchens, guest rooms, dens, and playrooms may need a separate lighting plan to support special functions and activities that occur within those rooms. Any type of special artwork or display you have in your house will need special art lights or display lights that will properly differentiate the piece from its surroundings without overpowering the rest of your decorative scheme. Connecting these many elements together is something that is very difficult to do without special training, and is also impossible to do without specification grade equipment engineered for high-end residential lighting design.

Reflexions Take 2

Dear friends,

Last week, while we were having the national holiday Corpus Christi, we went also out for a walk in the Main Square. Its always good to stretch your legs, especially if during the week - not only the working hours - one is sitting in front of the computer more than 8 hours a day. A little walking never killed nobody and we dont plan to stop :) The weather was amazing so while we walked in the city center, next to Sukienicce and Mariacki I managed to capture a few reflexions in the mirrors of the shops around the square.
“Did you ever wonder if the person in the puddle is real, and youre just a reflection of him?” ― Bill Watterson
"People are like stained - glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within." ― Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
"A poor self-image is the magnifying glass that can transform a trivial mistake or an imperfection into an overwhelming symbol of personal defeat." ― David D. Burns
“You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul” ― George Bernard Shaw
How about you, lads and lasses, have you find any reflexion worth your while? Have you captured it? If so, I would dearly love to see it. I have named this post "Reflexions - Take 2" due to the fact that in the beginning of the year, in February I wrote to you about reflexions I have seen in the puddles after rain. In the puddles and in the mirrors of the shops... where else do you find reflexions? :) So if you wish to read the previous post you can do it here - and I will wait for you to come back and let me know what you think of it ;)

Yours truly,
A LadyBug Who Searches For Colorful Reflexions

Total Stretch 5

Months of working on stretching to achieve my goal of getting my needle, I have sadly not reached my goal. It may take me longer to build up my flexibility for my back. For some people it takes them a little longer because they werent born with natural flexibility. I am one of those people. To me, I feel like my back actually lost some flexibility, but thats okay because I still have the motivation to reach my goal of getting my needle. Here are some of the new stretches that I tried and will add to my stretching routine to become more flexible.

The first new stretch that I tried out was called "The Standing Back Bend", this was a moderate/hard stretch (57).
This stretch was actually kind of hard for me because it was hard to go all the way back without pushing myself too hard to the point where I would hurt myself. It was hard to control how far I went because gravity kept on forcing me back farther so I had to use my hands for support. In the text it states "2. Lean back as far as you can without pushing your self too far, put your hands on your side" (57). So I altered this stretch a little to reduce the chance of injury. Overall this stretch was a little too hard for me, but in the future I plan to put my hands on my side instead of the back of my legs so I can make this stretch a little more difficult for me and it will also improve my flexibility every time I try to improve on my stretches.

The second stretch I tried was called "Back Twist", this was an easy stretch (59).
This stretch was a very easy stretch and also felt relaxing. I really felt the stretch in my lower back. This stretch was very helpful too because it stretched my back by twisting my back instead of leaning back. This was a total different way than all of the other stretches I have been doing and this has really benefited me. Stretches that stretch parts of your body in a new and different way can really benefit you. In the "Different stretches" section Roscoe Nash states, "If you try different stretches then what you are used too, it may help improve your flexibility..." (88). This really convinced me to try these new stretches that I learned from the book because I saw that if I tried new stretches my flexibility had a better chance of improving. This stretch specifically related to this quote because all of the stretches that I learned from this book and stretches that I previously known have all had to do with leaning back, not twisting. This stretches challenged me in a way that benefited me.

Here is my most recent attempt of a getting a full needle:
Some things that I need to work on to improve my needle is, lifting my chest up and holding my leg at my calf. Even though I did not get a full needle with my legs in a complete splits position, I will keep motivating myself to get my needle and one say I will reach my goal!

Dont give up on something if you dont get it right away because it takes some people longer to achieve a goal. You have to have motivation to be able to achieve your goal. Keep challenging yourself and dont give up because you will meet your goal one day.

Question:
Has there ever been something that you have tried to achieve but just never achieved it? If so, what was it and did you give up or are you still trying to reach that goal?
